Groundhog Day In It

Ascii 202412 Karl PalachukMore Success with a Lot Less Stress?

Yes, it is possible. I recently made a presentation to The ASCII Group – www.ascii.com – a professional association of IT consultants. They asked me to talk about dealing with stress in a high-pressure consulting business.  They recorded and posted the webinar, so I thought I’d share it here.

You don’t have to be in IT to learn the core lessons of staying focused, putting things in perspective, and developing a system that runs with less stress. Let’s be honest, if you own the company and you’re stressed out, you did that to yourself. And you can undo it as well.

Whether you like it or not, much of your success depends on you willingness to stop and recharge your batteries. And you need to slow down just enough to set up better systems to run your business.

Running around, crazy, burned out and stressed out might make you feel productive. But don’t confuse activity with productivity. Too much activity results in less productivity. It’s true!

This presentation (one hour) gives some key tips on setting priorities, addressing the overwhelm, and bringing both productivity and balance to your business.

Feedback welcome.

🙂
